Now is the time to sign up for the MANN MOTORSPORTS M-Power Cup Series! Call the office at 336.664.6222 and make your reservation to join the league. As soon as we get enough racers signed up, we will schedule the season. Thanks for supporting our League Night.

Enduro League / League Night / League Rules

Available GPG Leagues:

- MANN MOTORSPORTS M-Power Cup Series-
Format and Rules
(begins JUNE, 2008)

1. League participants will be broken into three weight classes. Lights: up to 170 lbs., Middles: 171-210 lbs., & Heavy's: 211 lbs and up. All classes will race Monday nights with practice starting at 7:00 pm. All League racers must either be members already or join to enter. GPG scales will be used. No mukluks, heavy coats or lead weights will be welcomed at the weigh-in. No changing of weight classes after we start - unless we catch you fudging! <G>

2. The season will last 5 weeks with 4 of those weeks counting towards championship points. This allows a participant to miss one week without penalty. The season begins as soon as we register at least 25 racers.

3. Points will be earned by finishing position in feature races and calculated at one point per racer in a race. If there are 6 racers, 1st place gets six points and 6th place gets 1 point. This prevents a large point gap to develop on a poorly attended night.

4. One (1) bonus point will be awarded for the pole position. In the event of multiple feature races in a single weight class, one (1) bonus point will be awarded for each pole sitter.

5. The event will be broken into multiple run groups for each weight class (determined by practice times) if needed to balance the racing. Practice will begin at 7 pm and be 6 min. heats until 8:15. Qualifying heats will be determined by fast lap during practice. There will be at least 3 qualifying and race heats for each night A maximum of 10 karts per heat will be allowed on track, so the sign-up order and participation levels will determine if we need to limit entries.

6. The cost will be $25 registration plus $55 per night. Racers may not use pre-purchased races or coupons for league use.

7. The prizes for each weight class are as follows:
a. Grand Champion: Trophy: 1 All Day race Pass & (1) Eight Race Package
b. First Loser: Trophy and a Five Race Package.
c. Next Loser: Trophy and Three Race Package.
d. Other prizes will be offered as we are able to obtain them from our corporate sponsors. Examples are food coupons, hats, shirts, etc.

Grand Prix Greensboro Enduro
10 karts maximum, 2 hours/ 250 laps
$165/ team/ night & $50 Registration

Endurance Race Format and Rules:
· Proposed Dates of Races: Monday nights at 7:45 PM - dates determined by signups. Will be ASAP.
· We need 10 pre-paid commitments for week 1 to begin the series.
· Endurance races are 2 hours long or 250 laps, whichever comes first.
· Each team will consist of 3 racers minimum and 5 racers maximum.
· Each racer will run between 10 and 100 laps per driver session.
· No racer can run more than 100 laps in a race.
· Each team must make a minimum of 3 mandatory pit stops. Teams can pit as many times as necessary in order to complete the race.
· Qualifying will be 5 laps in randomly assigned karts.
· The racer who qualifies for the team must start the race for that team.
· Qualifying fastest lap times determine the starting order for the race, not the kart number.
· Karts will be selected randomly by drawing.
· Teams will be gridded for a standing start on the track, remember this is a 250 lap race. Crashing or getting penalty in the first corner, does not benefit your team.
· Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place each night.
· Points will also be awarded for each team and a three series team champion will be crowned after three endurance races are run.
· 10 Teams will be signed up for the endurance race series.
· The karts will go the two hours with no need for refueling or tire changes.
· Each team will be tracked in the computer and the team with the most laps who crosses the line first after the allotted time or who completes 250 laps will win.
· In the event that a kart fails for a mechanical reason -other than a crash - the team will be given a replacement kart. The race will not be stopped unless it is deemed unsafe to remove the kart from the track for the team to get a new kart.
· If a race needs to be slowed to remove a kart and replace it, the karts will be slowed using the Shutdown system. No passing will take effect under this full course yellow situation.
· All Grand Prix Greensboro Karting Rules Apply

o The first penalty for violation of the rules will be a 10-second pit stop for that team's kart and driver in the pit or in the penalty box. Penalties start upon all other karts exiting the pits.
Example: Team 5 gets a penalty. Team 4 is in the pit changing drivers. Team 5 must wait to receive their penalty time until Team 4 has exited the pit after changing drivers.
o The second penalty for a violation of the rules will be a 30 second pit stop for the team and the removal of the driver from the race. Another driver must continue racing.
o The third penalty for any particular kart/team regardless of driver will result in removal of the kart/team from the race.
o Most racers are accustomed to a 20 lap race. This is a 250 lap or two hour endurance race, not a sprint. Remember that there will be hundreds of turns to get past your opponents, not just the next one in front of you.
o This event is non-refundable. No refund will be given for any reason, kart breakage, violation of rules, improper conduct or basically losing the race for any possible reason on the planet that could occur.
· Please remember that this is supposed to be fun. We award prizes, trophies and other items for endurance races, but the goal is to enjoy two hours of spirited racing in a competitive environment without someone getting hurt. Remember your manners and act appropriately as a winner or loser. Take into consideration that there are a number of other people trying to enjoy the same experience that you are. Don't be a poor sport and ruin the experience for someone else. Inappropriate actions will result in the participating member being barred from racing at Grand Prix Greensboro again.
